Congratulations to Rajesh Khanna, May Khanna, Tod Vanderah, and Erik Dustrude on the award of a new patent: Non-narcotic CRMP2 peptides targeting sodium channels for chronic pain (U.S. Patent No.: 10,287,334). CSM peptides reduce chronic pain by interfering with CRMP2-mediated trafficking the voltage-gated sodium channel known as Nav1.7.

Congratulations to Oddo Salvo at ASU for new R01 funding to study RIP Kinase in Alzheimer's Disease! This collaboration will bring a new postdoc into our lab to work on targeting necroptosis. We are looking forward to working with the Oddo lab on this project.
