The lab received a renewal of funding from Accelerating Medicines Partnership-Alzheimer’s Disease (AMP-AD). The goal of this NIH initiative is to accelerate drug discovery in AD. This grant supports Judy Tello and her project. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Rajesh Khanna, May Khanna, Tod Vanderah, and Erik Dustrude on the award of a new patent: Non-narcotic CRMP2 peptides targeting sodium channels for chronic pain (U.S. Patent No.: 10,287,334). CSM peptides reduce chronic pain by interfering with CRMP2-mediated trafficking the voltage-gated sodium channel known as Nav1.7.
